The world-famous Zonin winery creates this outstanding red wine of the Venetian peasant heritage from the vinification of a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes under the tight disciplinary guidelines. The vineyards from which the priceless grapes are picked are from the traditional DOC of Veneto. The classic Ripasso method of vinification, which involves passing Valpolicella wine over freshly squeezed Amarone pomace, is used for the vinification process. By using this method, the wine is enriched with sugars, glycerin, polyphenolic compounds, and aromatic notes while also having a modest rise in alcohol level. The wine matures for 12 months in 30 hectoliter barrels made of Slavonian oak and for another 6 months in bottles.
The wine has a straw-yellow hue that is light and brilliant and is well supported by a very fine perlage. With vinous undertones and distinct notes of cherry and chocolate powder, the scent is broad and nuanced. The flavor is excellent and well-balanced. Pleasantly fruity and lightly spicy flavors linger in the palate. The ideal serving temperature for a big glass is 18oC.
Zonin Valpolicella is full-bodied and pairs well with appetizing starters, baked pasta and well-seasoned cheeses. Order now from My Mini Bar at the best price.
